Refund & Returns Policy

1. General

Due to the nature of our products, returns and exchanges are not accepted.

All products sold by Tastes of Finland are food items (chocolate). For health and hygiene reasons, food products cannot be returned once delivered.


2. Right of Withdrawal (EU Exception)

In accordance with EU consumer protection regulations, the statutory 14-day right of withdrawal does not apply to food products that are perishable or not suitable for return for health and hygiene reasons.

By placing an order, the customer acknowledges and accepts this exception.


3. Temperature Sensitivity

Chocolate is sensitive to temperature. During warm weather, heat waves, or extended transport, minor melting or changes in texture may occur despite careful packaging.

Such changes do not affect product safety or edibility and do not qualify for a refund or replacement.

Customers are advised to retrieve their parcel promptly upon delivery.


4. Damaged, Defective, or Incorrect Orders

If an order arrives damaged, defective, or incorrect, the customer must contact us within 48 hours of delivery.

The claim must include:

  • clear photos of the product

  • photos of the inner and outer packaging

After review, we will offer a replacement or refund, at our discretion.


5. Non-Refundable Situations

Refunds or replacements will not be issued for:

  • personal taste preferences

  • partially consumed products

  • improper storage after delivery

  • delayed claims beyond 48 hours

  • damage caused after delivery

  • incorrect or incomplete delivery address


6. Refund Processing

Approved refunds will be issued using the original payment method.

Refund processing times may vary depending on the payment provider.
